The war against the imagination

The power structure

The combined wealth of the 85 richest people in the world is equal to that of the poorest 50% of the world population, according to a report [1]by Oxfam International. According to this report, the combined wealth of the richest 1% of the world’s population, viz. $ 110 trillion, is 65 times more than the poorest 50% of the world’s population! The same organization recently found [2]that South Africa is one of the most unequal countries in the world in terms of income inequality. According to the same report, there is currently in South Africa a bigger gap than there was 20 years ago, between a super-rich minority and millions of the poorest people in the country.

There are speculations regarding the possibility of there being influential people who are rich and powerful to the extent that they can even influence government leaders from “behind the scenes”. Let’s assume that there really are approximately 1,000 people who have so much power and wealth that it would be possible for them to “encourage” corrupt government leaders to make certain decisions that would consistently favour a small minority at the expense of most other citizens. Which methods would these powers behind the scenes continually use to guarantee their immense power and influence?

The supposed elite could first of all attempt to create the impression among most citizens regarding politicians having the citizens’ best interests at heart. The corrupt politicians will, from their side, constantly make promises to reduce unemployment and to channel wealth from the richest to the poorest people. They will endeavour to keep the voters content with empty promises. Meanwhile their actions will lead to even greater gaps between on the one hand, the super-rich elite and politicians, and on the other hand, the vast majority of poor people. Most of the voters’ attention will be focused on superficial entertainment and one-sided news reports. Because of this, they will probably never find out who the real beneficiaries are. The powerful elite and their puppets could also conveniently find scapegoats – even imaginary scapegoats! Church leaders blaming the Devil and constantly complaining about the “sins of the flesh” can serve as useful idiots by unintentionally keeping their flock uninformed about the real causes of their problems. If certain members of the powerful elite are also owners of the mainstream media, they could easily promote certain ideas and values unilaterally at the expense of others.

The global elite could even ensure that the main principles of the largest political parties in countries where they have considerable influence over corrupt politicians are in accordance with a certain political ideology and/or religion that they use in opportune fashion to extend their power and influence. While on the one hand creating the impression that voters really do have a real choice between two opposing parties which in reality differ with each other only regarding minor viewpoints, they ensure on the other hand that venal politicians’ statements do not differ in any meaningful way from the prevailing ideology or worldview. An example of this is “politically correct” legislation which could be used to ensure consensus regarding significant matters such as immigration and foreign policy. The deceived voters’ values, language, thoughts and actions could be limited to being more uniform and consistent with prevailing dogmas. Let’s further assume that there is a power-hungry group which strives for world domination. This group might even attempt to finally get rid of nation-states and unique folk cultures, in order to replace it with a one-world order consisting mainly of the global elite that could even be genetically closely related to each other; as well as a homogeneous, apathetic and unimaginative working class. The greatest potential threats to the realization of this horrifying ideal are independent thinkers who might use their imaginations and creative abilities to motivate others to think outside of the acceptable “box” of the dominant ideology.

In the past decades there had been much discussion about the possible nature of powerful interest groups that might have influenced the course of events for many years from “behind the scenes”. While David Duke and Andrew Hitchcock claimed in their respective books, Jewish Supremacism and The Synagogue of Satan, that Jewish people had always been prominent within these powerful interest groups, David Icke refers to extra-terrestrial reptilian creatures. Why is it almost impossible to find books and other media in popular bookstores, which objectively address Jewish/Zionist influence in international politics? Unlike mainstream media such as CNN, the websites The People’s Voice [3] and Red Ice Creations [4], provide alternative, thought-provoking information regarding world events.

There are few significant differences between the two largest political parties in both the U.S. and in South Africa – both countries which are well-known for their apparent promotion of “equal” rights and freedom of speech. In the U.S. both the Democratic and Republican Parties often supported decisions of the racist Israeli government, while both the ANC and the Democratic Alliance (DA) in South Africa, currently support Affirmative Action policies, Black Empowerment, street-name changes and land reform. The South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) came to the conclusion that the implementation of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) policies was one of the main contributory factors [5] which led to the widening gap between the super-rich elite and most black people. In contrast to the three main political parties, the SAIRR suggested that the implementation of BEE should not be changed but should instead be entirely stopped! Do all American citizens have an equal opportunity to become president of this “equal opportunities paradise”, or would persons with a specific lineage have an unfair advantage? The brilliant 12-year-old girl, BridgeAnne d’Avignon, of Salinas, California, recently discovered [6]that 42 of the 43 U.S. presidents were descendants of King John “Lackland” who signed the Magna Carta in 1215.

After we take heed of the foregoing facts, we should seriously doubt whether a democratic system would necessarily promote the welfare of most citizens under all circumstances. Some alternative thinkers are therefore proponents of either (1) a form of government in which a “spiritually-conscious” elite has a significant impact – similar to that of the “philosopher-kings” in Plato’s book The Republic; or (2) an anarchist society in which people have as much freedom as possible – without a government. Perhaps the best way forward would be a compromise between these two views. Perhaps a Platonic elite can assist people in getting rid of the decades-long indoctrination by the mainstream media – until there is no more need for an army, police force or any other government institution. A world without governments where all individuals would have as much freedom and resources available to them, would provide all of them with the opportunities to use their imaginations and creative abilities in an undisturbed fashion – without taxes, oppressive legislation or criminals  continually harassing them with burglaries and violent crimes. This world would be the exact opposite of a possible future (Transhumanist?) collectivist one-world order dominated by a totalitarian corporate dictatorship.

[5]“BEE, by contrast, like other affirmative action measures around the world, will never help more than a relative elite.”
